Connecticut License to Carry Class – July 19, 2024

This live fire class is required by the state of Connecticut for a resident or nonresident concealed carry permit. The class includes fingerprints, notarized signature, and photo needed to apply for your CT permit.

You must contact Connecticut State Police prior to this class.

Connecticut licensing requires fingerprint processing. Prior to this class, you must contact Connecticut State Police to get an application packet that includes a unique code that applicants are required to use to pay for fingerprint processing. You must bring your personalized packet to this class.

You must have a current Massachusetts license to carry, or you must take the Massachusetts Basic Firearms Safety Course prior to taking this course.

This course takes 4 hours to complete. It includes classroom instruction and range time with revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. It also includes information about the Connecticut licensing process and an introduction to Connecticut firearms law. You will be fingerprinted and you will receive the notarized signature and photo needed to apply for your Connecticut CCL.
